The Production Team of GRACE

STEPHANIE KLAPPER

Stephanie Klapper, CSA (Casting Director), has been in the business for 25 plus years. As a Casting Director, her work is frequently seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, internationally, on television, the internet, and film. Projects she has cast have won numerous awards including the Tony, OBIES, Artios, Drama Desk, Pulitzer Prize, Sundance Audience Award, Cannes Prize Du Publique, and Comic Con awards. She is the resident casting director for Primary Stages, New York Classical Theatre, Resonance Ensemble, Masterworks Theater Company, The Peccadillo Theatre Company, and works frequently with the Pearl Theatre Company, as well as many regional theatres.


Select Broadway projects: BRONX BOMBERS (Circle In the Square on Broadway/Director: Eric Simonson); A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL (Lunt Fontanne Theatre/Madison Square Garden/Director: John Rando/Choreographer: Warren Carlyle); DIVIDING THE ESTATE (2009 Tony Nomination, Booth Theatre/Director: Michael Wilson).


Stephanie is a graduate of SUNY College at Purchase and a frequent guest teacher at many colleges and universities including: New York University, Kenyon College, University of Michigan, UNCSA, UMKC, Florida State (Asolo), Skidmore College, Penn State, SUNY Purchase, SUNY New Paltz, Indiana University, Penn State, UNC Chapel Hill, New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, and the Tepper Semester through Syracuse University.
